“Young Ambassadors Fighting Climate Change” project addresses the need for education on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to climate change stat among young people, which are the most vulnerable to the effects of this phenomenon.
“Young Ambassadors Fighting Climate Change” is funded through the SEE 2009 – 2014 grants, with the amount of 139 485 euros of which 14,580 euros, representing own contribution.
Previous editions of the project were conducted by the Foundation TERRA Millenniul III and RAC-RO Federation, with the support of the British Embassy in 2008 and financial support of the Danish Embassy in Bucharest in 2009 and with the support of the German Embassy in 2010-2011. During the three editions, more than 1000 students were involved and their number is increasing from year to year.
